  • GPAW
In 2002, a group of dedicated Great Pyrenees owners in Southern California found there was an interest for fun activities with their Pyrs. We took this interest and formed The Great Pyrenees Alliance of the West (GPAW), which resulted in becoming an affiliate of the Great Pyrenees Club of America. Our goal is to provide continuing education about our wonderful and unique breed and host a variety of activities we can enjoy with our Pyrs. Our activities run the gamut from parades (Christmas, Fourth of July and the Santa Barbara Big Dog) to wine tasting fund raising, to a tour of a working apple orchard, to professional picture taking of our dogs in the California poppy fields, walks sponsored by local community organizations and versatility events. We also have members who cart and some who spin Pyr fur, and others who are very involved doing therapy work with their Pyrs.

  • Great Pyrenees Rescue of Northern California
This site is for the benefit of Great Pyrenees dogs in need of a new home. For a variety of reasons these dogs end up in shelters, or their owners can no longer care for them. This organization takes the dogs into their program, updates all their shots, has them vet evaluated and places them into foster homes where they stay until they are adopted. This site has an extensive library for any one to access who is looking for information about Great Pyrenees.

  • Honor Our Troops
El Dorado County Association of Realtors (EDCAR) is in its 5th year of supporting our soldiers through the “Honor our Troops” committee, commonly referred to as H.O.T. It is our desire to support our local military during their deployment by sending them boxes filled with supplies and thoughts from home. Any soldier who is currently in a war zone and from El Dorado County( EDC) or has family living in EDC can be added to our roster. Currently H.O.T. sends out packages 3x's a year filled with cards from EDC groups, local publications, candy, socks, toiletries, games and much more. We raise all of our funds locally through individual donations, veteran’s breakfasts, spaghetti feeds and our “adopt a soldier” fund raisers. EDCAR would love to invite you as a community to join us in this worthwhile endeavor.

What our clients are saying!

Randy and Debi with Bright Hope Designs really know what they're talking about then it comes to developing a website the customer wants. They started out just maintaining my site and then we decided to make some pretty hefty changes and upgrades due to the information that Randy and Debi provided. They know about search engines, how they work and how to work in the clients best interest to get found in a search. They are fun and professional all at the same time. I would, and have, recommended Bright Hope Designs to other business owners in the area."

Debi and Randy Carpadus have done an excellent job with our web site. They are creative, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and have been patient with our often ignorant questions and demands. Thanks for a great job!"
